QR Code

Micro ATM

  • Micro ATM meant to be a device that is used by Business Correspondents (BC) to deliver basic banking services. The platform will enable Business Correspondents (who could be a local kirana shop owner and will act as ‘micro ATM’) to conduct instant transactions.
  • The micro platform will enable function through low cost devices (micro ATMs) that will be connected to banks across the country. This would enable a person to instantly deposit or withdraw funds regardless of the bank associated with a particular BC. This device will be based on a mobile phone connection and would be made available at every BC. Customers would just have to get their identity authenticated and withdraw or put money into their bank accounts. This money will come from the cash drawer of the BC. The basic transaction types, to be supported by micro ATM, are Deposit, Withdrawal, Fund transfer, Mini Statement and Balance enquiry.

Green Channel Counter

  • Sindhudurg DCC Bank has launched its 'Green Channel Counter' facility at all branches of the Bank spread across the Sindhudurg District as an innovative step towards paperless 'Green Banking' for deposit, withdrawal and remittance transactions for Bank's ATM card holders.
  • This facility would give customers ease and comfort in transacting their business at branches. The customers need not fill up any pay-in slips or draw cheques for depositing or withdrawing money from their accounts, saving paper, and thereby contributing to the concept of 'Green Banking'. This novel facility would be a game changing move by reducing process time, as duplication in writing/feeding account details and transaction details by the customer as well as the person behind the counter is avoided by simply capturing these details by swiping the SDCC ATM Card on a device available at Branch counter. At the Green Channel counter, there is a Micro ATM device just like a POS machine, on which the customer deep his SDCC ATM card. He is then asked by the machine to select the type of transaction, viz. Cash Deposit, Cash Withdrawal, Funds Transfer, Mini Statement and Balance Inquiry. Once the customer selects the type of transaction then customer account number (which is linked with inserted ATM card) displayed (not editable), Enter the Amount, remark and submit, the transaction gets completed.
  • To start with, five types of transactions have been enabled through this facility. This would be the most economical alternate channel for the Bank as the device used to capture the customer transaction data is also inexpensive.
  • The Green Channel Counter is also an endeavour to offer ease of transactions to senior citizens, especially a large number of pension accountholders who still prefer branch banking. It is the privilege of the oldest Bank in the country to take care of its elder citizens and guide them to the use of plastic cards.

Branch BBPS Service

  • Bharat Bill Payments System (BBPS) is an integrated online platform which is being developed by the National Payments Corporation of India for all kinds of bill payments. The platform intends to build an interoperable service through a network of agents, enabling multiple payment modes along with instant generation of receipts of payments. It would connect the utility service companies on one end and all payments service providers on the other.

PFMS

  • The Public Financial Management System (PFMS) is a web-based online software application developed and implemented by the Controller General of Accounts (CGA), Department of Expenditure, Ministry of Finance, Government of India. PFMS started during 2009 with the objective of tracking funds released under all Plan schemes of Government of India, and real time reporting of expenditure at all levels of Programme implementation. Subsequently, the scope was enlarged to cover direct payment to beneficiaries under all Schemes. Gradually, it has been envisaged that digitization of accounts shall be achieved through PFMS and beginning with Pay & Accounts Offices payments, the O/o CGA did further value addition by bringing in more financial activities of the Government of India in the ambit of PFMS. The outputs / deliverables for the various modes / functions of PFMS include (but are not limited to):
  • Direct Benefit Transfer
    • Transferring subsidies directly to the people through their bank/Post office account is Direct Benefit Transfer. It aims to timely transfer of benefit to the citizen by bringing efficiency, effectiveness, transparency and accountability in the Government system. Through the DBT Government intend to achieve electronic transfer of benefits, reduce delays in payments and most importantly, accurate targeting of beneficiaries, thereby curbing leakages and duplication.
  • Centrally Sponsored Schemes
    • Under Centrally Sponsored Scheme (CSS) a certain percentage of the funding is borne by the States in the ratio such as 50:50, 60:40, 70:30, 75:25 or 90:10. It is implemented by the State Governments. Centrally Sponsored Schemes are formulated on subjects under the State List to encourage States to prioritise in areas that require more attention. Funds are routed either through consolidated fund of States and or are transferred directly to State/ District Level Autonomous Bodies/Implementing Agencies.
  • Central Sector Schemes
    • Central Sector Schemes are those that 100% funded by the Union government implemented by a central government agency. These schemes are mainly formulated on subjects within the union list.

  • National Automated Clearing House or NACH is an electronic mode of funds transfer from your bank account to your SINDHUDURG DCC BANK account.     • NACH Debit is a Mandate based debit service. Following are the key features of the NACH Debit:
    • Automated processing and exchange of mandate information electronically with well-defined timelines for acknowledgement/confirmation.
    • Each mandate needs to be accepted/ authorized by the debtor bank before the User can initiate a transaction.
    • Each mandate is uniquely identified by Unique Mandate Reference Number (UMRN), which makes tracking of multiple mandate details easier for customers.
  • NACH mandate
    • Mandate is a one-time registration process. It is just an authorization to your bankers to debit your account with a fixed amount or up to a certain limit as per the frequency given by you in mandate form.
