Improvement in Customer Service :

  • Implemented schemes for encouraging small savings by launching Sadaphuli Recurring Deposit Scheme, Baliraja and Dnyan Sadhana Educational Loan scheme at concessional interest rate to students, Gold Loan Scheme, SindhuBank Salary Plus Scheme, Overdraft for Salaried Customers, Loans for Eco Friendly Ganesh Idols which became popular with Customer thereby increasing deposit and Loans of the Bank
  • Installed ATM at Villages giving 24x7 access to Customers of the Bank thereby reducing their dependence on Taluka for cash requirement on holidays or after banking hours
  • Launched Mobile ATM Van enabling Door step banking in Sindhudurg District and putting the VAN at Weekly Bazar at Villages as well as in the MELA for easy access to banking
  • Introduced Cash Deposit machine at Sawantwadi Branch enabling small traders and businessman to deposit their cash on the way to home.
  • Introduced Human ATM in rural Branches of the Bank to give ATM Card withdrawal facility in Branches during the working Hours
  • Made available easy credit for small borrowers

Technology Services :

  • Technology adoption was one of the best amongst DCCB Banks which created operational efficiency and Excellent Customer Service track.
  • Enabled ATM Infrastructure to become self sustainable revenue model with increase in Acquirer Income from ATM Transactions touched Rs.62 Lacs in a Year with 38 ATM’s in the District

  • Promoting Credit Growth :

    Growth planning is done with a goal to promote Sindhudurg DCCB as strongest DCCB in Maharashtra. Sindhudurg Banks achieved total growth during last year on Following parameters:

    • Total Deposits increased from Rs.2292 Crores as on 31- 03-2021 to Rs.2423 Crores as on 31-03-2022 i.e. registering growth of more than 5.75% over previous year.
    • Total Advances increased from Rs.1845 Crores to Rs.2034 Crores i.e. registering growth of more than 10.24% over previous year
      Bank has Started “Integrated Project for promoting Biogass, Organic Farming, Livelihood development through Natural Resource Management under UPNRM in Sindhudurg District in 2013.
    • With support of NABARD, planned rural development project titled “Integrated Project for Dairy, Animal Farming, Biogas, Composting, Farm Improvement and Rural Development”. It includes installation of 1200 Low cost Innovative Biogas Ferro-cement Modules, 660 Toilet blocks, 150 Composting Units with Backyard Organic Farming Units, 150 Small Backyard Poultry Farms and 75 Dairy farming Units Integrated scheme under UPNRM initiative of NABARD.
    • Implemented new schemes like tourism development in Sindhudurg district Niwas Nyahari Yojna near tourism cities in which the loan for development of house was given to small borrower by the bank.
    • Generating the Self Employment in district, Bank has financed various project like Dairy, Poultry, Irrigation, Resorts, Horticulture, Processing, Fisheries, Backish water prawns farming, Goat & sheep rearing etc.
    • Innovative scheme of Weekly Gavathi Bazar has been established in all the Taluka places of Sindhudurg District giving opportunity to small farmers for selling their produce directly to the customers thereby avoiding the traders and generating revenue directly.
