Sindhudurg District Central Co-op. Bank is serving to rural population of Sindhudurg District through Bank, Vikas Society by purchasing their product, extending credit facilities and giving the expert knowledge for agriculture and other allied sector. Bank has promoted many schemes for pro-agri business like poultry farming activities in smaller scale for broiler and deshi hens, animal husbandry to augment the income and also given helping hand by way of extending the credit from Sindhudurg District Bank on attractive terms. As agriculture sector being small and landholdings being not big to undertake traditional farming, Bank has promoted Sugar Cane production, and given active credit help which saw rise in Sugarcane production in the district. Today unlike other parts of the Maharashtra where agriculturist depending on the single crop his consistent efforts enabled the villages to undertake other agri base activities and reducing the sole dependence on agriculture.

Schemes for micro finance activities like animal husbandry, Poultry farming, Biogas has been promoted by Sindhudurg District Bank and was declared as Ideal Schemes by NABARD for other Banks to follow. Bank has laid emphasis on Dairy /Animal Husbandry Development business in the District and with subsidy from Jillha Parishad loans were disbursed for purchasing 2 numbers of cattle to members.

Bank has also set up Self Help Group and more than 7000 SHG and an amount of Rs.934.43 lacs has been advanced to them and with regular recovery of all the loans. In co-ordination with NABARD Bank has arranged Training Programmes for SHG for skill improvement and giving the new avenues for generation of income. The produce of the SHG is marketed with Banks help in various districts and during the festival season.

Board of Sindhudurg Bank has set the Technology Vision for the Bank and making technology a key driver of all development and making banking products and services affordable and accessible; simultaneously ensuring viability and profitability due to the processes automation and improved profitability by reducing the costs. Bank has made emphasis on extending technology in a cost effective manner and for penetrative reach of banking services and products to a large section of the unbanked population by bringing them into the formal banking system enabling financial inclusion. This helped in extending the geographical reach of the Bank without correspondingly increasing the Branch Network and enabling the transaction through Business Correspondent model.

With invent of Digital Banking model and Mobile phone users belonging to all strata of society, spread across metropolitan, urban, semi-urban and rural centres Sindhudurg DCCB has started the second phase of Digital Banking in the Bank with introduction of Merchant POS, RuPay Debit Card, Online Railway Bookings, DTH, Recharge, IMPS, Kiosk Banking, Direct Membership for RTGS\NEFT, Cash Recyclers, Tab Banking, UPI, PFMs integration and host of other activities.

Introduction of Technological innovation has not only enabled Bank a broader reach for consumer banking but has also enhanced its capacity for continued growth. Sindhudurg DCCB have always been quick to realize and adopt technology in a big way.
